In WIRED magazine there’s a new international train station being built in the UK.
In November, workers will put their finishing touches on a five year job. The total cost for the International train station will cost $1.6 billion. This is the biggest project ever in the UK. The goal is to have high speed 1 line that runs through the channel tunnel. UK new train station required 300,000 new roof slates, 16 million fresh bricks, 450 security cameras, 300 plasma screens. February is the launch time where Londoners will choose from 17 daily trains to Paris and 10 to Brussels. “The trip will be just as fast as flying” James Lee. I think this impact business owners because they have a another quick way to reach there clients.

Micheal Melfi, the owner of 6 degrees magazine was a guest speaker on September 25,2007. Mike has taken the time to understand market by doing research and testing his magazine . As a former lawyer he was able to understand contract. Mike told us the importance to have a strong team. He also express not to take the lazy man load. Finally six degrees attracts local and national advertisers. Six degrees brand in three major metropolitan cities which are Detroit, Atlanta,Miami. Michael is expand in the brand into three new major metropolitan cities.
Dave Bing

Dave Bing, the owner of Bing Group , was the guest speaker on September 18, 2007. He was a very humble person who spoke briefly about his career as a professional basketball player. As a professional athlete he learned about being a leader and working as a team player. He showed how a real entrepreneur should act with class. He was dressed professionally, he was on time, and he was prepared to speak to a young group of future entrepreneurs. He told us how important it is to know your market. He also told us the importance of researching and knowing your competition. He discussed business location, knowing where your clients will come from, and networking. He told us that it is important to speak about your company and letting people know what services your company provides. Finally, Mr. Bing spoke about the importance of knowing your employees. He visited the departments and talked with employees about their jobs. Mr. Bing does the right thing, by being a professional team leader.
John Ferchill
John Ferchill visited Bizdom U on September 11,2007 to talk about his success in the real estate business. He was candid in speaking about marketing his business.John Ferchill gave good advice about finding your niche in business.He told us whatever we enjoyed doing we should push forward with our business idea. He also said building a strong relationship with existing business will develop future business relationships with companies. I was impressed that John Ferchill believed that giving back to the community helped him to be a successful businessman.
